Personal Consumption Expenditure index rose more than expected (reflecting tough inflation) and consumer sentiment rose more than expected. This seems to puts things into perspective for the Feds to remain tough on their fight against inflation. Perhaps these are the reasons why all three major US indices are in the red this morning when I'm writing this blog.
