Commerce Department's data showed that orders for durable goods (large appliances/equipment) fell more than estimated in January (looks mainly due to transportation segment). In another news, consumer confidence dipped in February. Markets appear to have a mixed reaction as DJIA, S&P500 are in the red and Nasdaq Composite is in the green this morning (PST).
