Federal Reserve Chairman's comments today seemed to imply a more hawkish stance towards inflation. Perhaps the behavior of investors in US markets today suggested a mix of optimism and skepticism on Fed's stance in reaching the desired inflation goal by next year. Skepticism is probably because of geo-political issues that are exacerbating the factors affecting inflation. It may be prudent to stay cautious and make data-driven decisions with respect to stocks.
