This morning (PST) markets appear to be fluctuating as investors digest the news about banking system from the weekend. There were reports that deposit outflows from the regional banks to big banks such as JPMorgan and Wells Fargo had slowed. Government was also working on an emergency lending program for banks. First Citizens bank was acquiring SVB assets. Basically, the news suggest that there was a lot of progress made to diffuse the banking system issues. There might have been some profit-taking (especially in tech sector after a reasonably good run) and some skepticism that might be resulting in markets fluctuating. Let's see how the markets finish.
