Volatile day with tech getting hammered. I checked some of the banks' results and they seemed pretty okay with shortfall in some business segments that was expected. I liked TSMC's result (largest semiconductor foundry) and guidance. It appears that TSMC saw strength in high-performance computing and automotive sectors. Guidance seemed to indicate that this strength would continue into the next quarter. Tech stocks fell anyway.
