This morning (PST), all three major US indices are in the green perhaps because of optimism surrounding the debt negotiation meeting between President Biden and House Speaker McCarthy. Former described his discussions with Congressional members as productive and the latter mentioned that there is a possibility that they could reach a deal by the end of week. Regional banks stabilized somewhat after Western Alliance showed improving deposits. Target earnings were perhaps not-so-bad given the current environment.
