CPI data showed inflation was more than expected in June and that seems to have taken all major US indices to a red finish today. The drop didn't seem as bad as one would have expected perhaps because President Biden's comments indicated that CPI data from June is kinda obsolete since the oil prices have come down in last 30 days or so.
