Markets finally got some good news today to stage a confident rally. In economic data, consumer confidence rose. Besides, Nike reported its quarterly results that beat analysts' estimates for revenue and earnings. This might be the cause of optimism that earnings season for Q4 may not be as bad as expected. All three major US indices finished the day in solid green.
