The last trading day of 2022 seems to have reflected investors' sentiment as all three major US indices finished the day in mild red. The day was not every eventful. Perhaps there was tax-related selling for most part of the day and then there were bottom fishers who perhaps went on a shopping spree before the close. That might have caused the day to finish in mild red instead of solid red. 2022 has been one of the worst years for the stock market since the 2008 financial crisis. I was extra cautious this year and got out of all my short-term investments in green by patiently averaging my way out of them. For the long-term portfolio, I'm happy that SPOT helped me find some jewels that outperformed this year and I decided to hold them at least for the first half of the next year. Overall, the year wasn't "sexy" for the stock market and many not-so-sexy stocks did well. So, let's end the year discussing a stock that matches this description and appears to be in the discounted zone.
